About the role:

  • Based at our Auckland Terminal Laboratory

Based at our Auckland Terminal Laboratory and reporting to Technical Manager., this 3 month fixed term role will be responsible for supporting the company’s quality control processes through the timely and accurate development, testing and reporting of physical laboratory services for testing of routine and external samples.

There will be a requirement to maintain the laboratory accreditation through a high level of housekeeping and document control and continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and practices.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Chemistry (or similar)
  • Two years experience in a laboratory environment
  • An understanding of the requirements of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9001 and its requirements
  • Knowledge of the concrete manufacturing process and technology
  • Knowledge of aggregate industry and associated testing processes
  • The ability to manage physically demanding work 
  • Intermediate Computer Skills – Word, Excel
